Japan's machine tool orders grow for 16 consecutive months, semiconductor equipment sales are strong


According to the Nikkei news report, the Japan Machine Tool Industry Association announced on the 23rd that the order value of machine tools in February was 139 billion yen, an increase of 31.6% over the same period of the previous year, and maintained a year-on-year growth for 16 consecutive months, among which orders for semiconductor-related equipment were particularly strong.

According to the report, the total domestic market demand in Japan increased by 60.4% to 48.8 billion yen. The scale of "electrical/precision" orders has reached the highest point since November 2006.

Overseas demand increased by 20% to 90.1 billion yen, surpassing 90 billion yen for two consecutive months.
